C/2019 K1 ATLAS - 2019/05/22 UT18:11

MPEC 2019-J24, issued on 2019, May 4, announce the discovery of a new comet has been designated C/2019 K1 ATLAS.

A. Valvasori, C. Caselli and P. Punzo, performed follow-up measurements of this object while it was still on the PCCP webpage.

Stacking of 30 unfiltered exposure, 60 seconds each, obtained remotely on 2019, September 22.7 Osservatorio Felsina AAB, Montepastore L19 through a 0.4 m f/5 Reflector + CCD, show that this object is a comet with a diffuse come about 9" in diameter.
